Ron Smith of Ft. Branch was elected the Republican Party County Chairman Saturday. Ron replaces Chet Mckee of Princeton who choose not to seek re-election to the post.

I was unable to attend saturday so I will wish Ron well here on GCN were I know he visits often. Also thanks to Chet for his years of service to the GOP.

Vance: Just wondering, now that the Republican party has a chairman again is there any chance of finding some candidates for the Princeton city elections? So far the only ones that have filed are for council at large, Mrs Ernst, and one other running against Cathy Cowling. The filing date has passed but the party can still install candidates for mayor and the other council seats. Based on the people I talk to, Republicans and Democrates alike, it appears if there is ever a time for a Republican win this is it. Candidates with some knowledge of how a business works could walk through this election with a win if you get the vote and message out.

Bruce I am not speaking for the party but I would love to see the party fill the ticket in every election. With a full ticket you tend to get more out to the polls to vote for your party. I'm not big on running as a team but the more (R)'s on the ballott the better for the party as a whole. In the past Republicans have been slow to announce intentions to run and many times we see appointments being made after the primary elections are over. I hope this will be one of those years and we can get more Republicans on the ballott in the fall. If we dont fill the postion for Mayor that allows the other party more resources to defeat the candidates who are running.

What tangled webs we weave... in order to decieve......

The Gibson County GOP Party will be an interesting group to watch over the next year..... one thing to watch for is: how much involvement that will take place at all events..... how many people will leave the group.... ect.....

Ron Smith... you will be an interesting character to watch in the Political Field... can you do it?

I was going to ask the same question. The laws were made to reduce the meth manufacturing, and we all have to go by the rules. It is too bad that we can't get meds that we need because of the meth heads, but that's life. I, for one, would gladly forego buying the ingredients of meth, due to the law, and if you need some medicine bad enough, just go to your doctor and get a pescription. Sure, it's a lot of trouble, but, would you rather make it easier for meth heads to manufacture meth in our county, just so it will be easier for you to purchase certain drugs? I cannot see Mr Smith's reasoning on this.

For those who are not familiar with the law:

Indiana's New Meth Law Senate Enrolled Act 444

When Governor Mitch Daniels signed into law Indiana's strongest weapon in the battle against the production of Methamphetamine, he asked that all law-abiding citizens join the effort to stop the epidemic that is making its way across our state. "We are not alone in this fight, he said, But it will take an enormous effort to stop it before it is too late. "This insidious killer hurts our communities in every way. From the addiction it causes, to the hopeless view of the future, to the children who see it, many are affected."

The new law requires retailers to keep medications containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine behind a counter, in a locked case or directly in front of a pharmacy counter that has video surveillance. "I regret these restrictions will cause a minor inconvenience to both Hoosiers needing these cold remedies and the retailers that sell them, but ephedrine and pseudoephedrine represent the key ingredients in the manufacturing of Methamphetamine.

"That's why I encourage 100% participation from all Hoosier retail establishments that carry common cold and allergy medications. If we can discourage or make it difficult for those who want Meth labs, we will not only save lives, we will save communities."

According to the Governor, research from the Indiana State Police and the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute estimates that the production of Methamphetamine in Indiana costs the state and its taxpayers nearly $100 million dollars annually.

Methamphetimine is a highly addictive, and is made by "cooking" ingredients found in many common medications with other household items such as gasoline additives. "It is time to let those who make, sell, or use Methamphetamine or its derivatives know that not only is Indiana Law enforcement on to you--so is your local convenience store," Daniels concluded.

Beginning July 1, 2005, consumers will notice a change in the way many everyday remedies are dispensed. According to the new law, sales are limited to those 18 years or older, and require purchasers to show a photo ID and sign a log book. No customer may purchase more than 100 tablets of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine peroducts per week.

It is too bad that we can't get meds that we need because of the meth heads, but that's life. I cannot see Mr Smith's reasoning on this. That's where I cannot quite understand his story. It is true that a person may not purchase more than 100 tablets of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine products per week. But he said that a doctor-prescribed drug could not be purchased for six more days because of the previous purchase of the over-the-counter drug. The law specifically states:

Sec. 14.7. (a) This section does not apply to the following:
(1) Ephedrine or pseudoephedrine dispensed pursuant to a prescription.

So if you walked into a drug store with a doctor's prescription for a truckload, this law would not apply.

Either the letter in the paper was not quite accurate, did not tell the whole story, or was flawed in some way.

Or someone made an error.

I'd like an answer to this! Get over it Mr Smith! We're in the middle of a meth war. If it means giving up the freedom of walking into a drugstore and getting certain drugs, then so be it! Are you suffering so much, that it would be worth the meth heads getting their drugs with no problem?

Who actually needs more than the law allows anyway for a normal person? It seems to me that the law allows the most, if not more, than a person would actually need for a week.

The dosage on almost all of them is "every four to six hours, not to exceed four in a twenty-four hour period", Four a day would be twenty-eight a week.

In reality it's 3 grams per 7 day period, no matter how many pills it takes.

(d) A person may not purchase drugs containing more than three (3) grams of ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, or both in one (1) week.

Thanks for pointing out the techinical aspect of it, but in reality, the average reader on here pays no attention how many grams of anything are in each capsule or pill of Sudafed or whatever it is they are taking. All they know is how many capsules or pills the directions on the side say to take.

The 100 pill reference was straight from the news release posted on Governor Mitch Daniels Meth Free Indiana Coalition website:

so now that we are educated on how many grams are in a pill... like I care... lets get back to the topic... The Gop Chair going against what our prosecutor and judge are for? What we < civil people> are for? Going agianst what needs to be done to make our streets safe?? Getting the dope heads off the streets and away from our schools?

lets put the dopes on the streets with ak47's... is that what Mr Smith wants?

forgot to add:

I feel it is what ever Mr Smith wants is what he will go for.. regardless of how it effects anyone else... and I gotta ask this question: Why isn't he a Democrat?

OK this is confusing. I got my box of 24pills down from the med cabinet. It has 2.4 grams of ephederine in the box. According to the law that one box of 24 pills almost exceeds the law amount per week acording to colt fan.

Smokie says exceeding 100 pills is against the law. I would have to agree. Because 24 pills almost exceeds the 3 gram law. THe 100 pill "reality" is deceiving as it makes me think i can take up to 99 pills in 7 days!!!
THe 100 pill "reality" is deceiving as it makes me think i can take up to 99 pills in 7 days!!!A couple of points here:

1. Always read the label on any drug or medication for the recommended dose and maximum daily dose. When in doubt ask your doctor.

2. The law says nothing about how many to take, it deals with purchasing and/or possessing ephedrine and pseudoephedrine.

Most labels of medications containing those products will direct you to take no more than four per day!

But really I would be way over the 3gram limit if i bought 36 pilllsThat's why most boxes, bottles or blister packs only contain enough of the medication for a week or less. The directions usually also say if symptoms persist for a week (etc), see your doctor.

The point is, there is no legitimate reason for a person to purchase more than a week's supply of the medication, usually 30 or less, unless they are manufacturing meth.

The new GOP chairman offered some lame excuse about why he needed so many, I think the whole story did not make sense.

I have read this thread, but have been to shocked at the election result to post. This is very sad that noone else could jump in and run against him. We could only hope that Becky will keep some civility in the party for the duration of this term.

Personally, I can't see this being a reason to drop out of the Republican party or for voting Democrat, but it does cause me to want to keep a very low profile for the duration.

You are so right, though. It is an embarrasment. I just wonder if, after posting this, a bunch of gun totin', Harley ridin' dudes will show up on my doorstep.

MWS06I expected to find a "they trampled on the people's rights" rant on here this morning, I am surprised that I did not.

This whole thing really has nothing to do with "people's rights", although he is attempting to slant it that way.

So, what really happened? I did not keep the original "letter to the editor", so I am going on a foggy recollection here.

Some cold/sinus medicaton was purchased by the wife, and the next day the wife returned to the same store to purchase some cold/sinus medication prescribed by the doctor for the husband? Is that correct?

If the second trip for medication involved a prescription from a doctor, it is exempt from the "meth law" purchase limit. If the place of business refused to sell to her, they made a mistake.

If the first trip involved purchasing more that enough for a week or two, was that good judgement?

If both medications contained the same drugs, why would the first medication not work for both? Brand name preference?

If I buy a pack of Sudafed (tm) and decide the next day it is not doing the job, I can go back to the store and buy a pack of Sinarest (tm) because these typically are found in packages of 8 or 12 or 24 or almost always some number under 30.

So I have not yet reached the purchase limit with both purchases?

I would like to see a little clarification of exactly what happened before I'll pay much attention to a "my rights were trampled" rant......

This will appear in the next GOP newsletter

**Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ron Smith. I came to Gibson county in 1985 to attend Oakland City College. That is where I met My wife Sheila, this October we will celebrate our 20th anniversary. We lived at Francisco from October 1987 until March 2000. In March 2000 changes in employment led to our moving to Indianapolis. We returned home to Gibson county in August 2002 and have lived in Fort Branch since that time.
**We are members of Princeton Christian Church,2nd Amendment Patriots,Sommerville Rifle & Pistol Club and the National Rifle Association. We are pro-gun,pro-life,christian conservatives. **My reason for getting involved in politics was to insure that there would always be a christian voice in government. In 2004 we used our vacation time to work the Republican booth at Evansville`s Fall Festival. In 2006 we did door to door work and phone banks for Troy Woodruff. I also wrote a letter of endorsement for Representative Woodruff for his work on the Indiana lifetime handgun license. **My work as Gibson county coordinator for Congressman Hostettler`s `06 campaign and the start of our bible study group at work led me to the decision to seek the position of chairman. Leading our bible study taught me how to get people from different backgrounds working together on the same page.
**After the election I frequently had breakfast with Stan Barringer.Stan was the research director for the Hostettler campaign. Our conversations were mostly about where could God use us and how could we be most effective for the conservative cause. After much prayerful consideration I ran for chairman.
**My vision for the Gibson county GOP is a smooth functioning cohesive group. We need to be a party that offers the voters the very best conservative candidates. Candidates that firmly believe in the principles our country was founded on and will uncompromisingly stand on those principles. Especially the principle of small limited government restrained by the constitution.
**I want to thank Becky Sparks for accepting the position of Vice-Chairman and Ernest Dillard for taking the position of Secretary. Ernest has some great ideas on improving communication within the party. **Feel free to contact me at anytime with whatever ideas you may have.

He has invited me in the past to a Patriots meeting by email and some day I will try and take him up on his invitation. I also was not able to attend the election when Mr. Smith was elected as the chairman. It seems like some are really hitting hard at Ron in above post and I just wonder what it is that most are against when it comes to Ron and his beliefs. Is it his strong stance on gun control that you dont like or is it more his coming out against the new meth law. I happen to disagree with Ron on the meth issue but not to the level that would make me come on GCN and really hit him hard as some seem to have done. We havent seen mud slung like this since ECW was banned and again I just wonder what it is you dont like.

Before someone accuses me of comparing apples to oranges listen to what I have to say.

" The American people seem to have developed an inclination to try to eliminate problems by passing laws, especialy laws prohibiting people from doing things by which a small minority cause trouble. Much of the sentiment against people owning and using firearms is based very largely on the notion that if guns were more strictly regulated there would not be so mny murders and robberies and such. Most proposed firearms legislation is pointed in the wrong direction. It disarms the honest law-abidding citizen, while it fails midserably in its avowed purpose of disarming the criminal. It is aimed at outlawing the gun rather than punishing the criminal who use the gun for an illegal purpose.
No legislation can prevent criminal from securing and using guns. Reputable gun owners maintain that legislation should not be aimed at the firearm but at its misuse."
Those words were published in the December 1964 issue of The American Rifleman, They are just as true today as they were then. Both in regards to firearms and our meth law.
Passing more laws will not make a bad person good it only creates a new class of criminal when what was once legal becomes illegal. If laws could perfect us the Gods law would have perfected us and Jesus would not have had to gone to the cross.
It`s time to start restoring freedom, punishing criminals and leaving law abiding citizens alone.
Our meth law simply criminalized what was once legal behavior and gave prosecutors a tool to get easy convictions and put a few feathers in their caps.
Isn`t it odd that you can possess all the yeast, sugar and corn meal you want and as long as you don`t make moonshine you haven`t broken the law and won`t be hassled. But posses too much Sudafed and it`s trip to the Graybar Hotel.

I do not know Mr. Smith. I lived in Gibson County most of my life, but do not currently reside there, so I don't really have a stake in the local political scene.

Mr. Smith describes himself as "We are pro-gun,pro-life,christian conservatives". I'm pretty pro-life. I don't particularly like guns, but I own one and do not plan to give it up. My values are pretty consistent with christian conservatives.

My take on Mr. Smith's post is that he wears his "christian conservative" title as a badge of honor. People like this scare me a bit. Ted Haggard and Jimmy Swaggert did the same kind of thing. I really don't want either one of these guys left alone with my adolescent daughters. Well, actually, my young son would be a bigger worry with Ted.

It seems to me the churches are getting way too involved in politics. I realize our country was founded on the basis of freedom of religion, but the the current christian conservative movement seems to consider freedom of religion acceptable in so long as it is the "right" religion.

As for me, I think I'll be a good christian by quietly serving the greater good of humanity. Should I choose to enter politics, I'll keep my religious beliefs off of the agenda. Just my personal beliefs, you have the right to your own.

Either you are acting dumb about the group or you really are dumb. Now I am not talking about being dumb in the ways of God or your past education. Dumb about the topic we are discussing. Look above, Acoma doesnt know me.. dont think? and I have no idea who this person is BUT if you read our posts you can see that Acoma knows exactly who I am talking about and they agree. I do believe you are mis-informed. I frequently discussed running for chairman with Stan Barringer. From the day after the election until he returned to college in January. At which time I put the idea on the back burner. When my wife recieved an email from Linda Mckee notify her of the caucus I started thinking about it again. It was getting very near the cut off for filing when I called my friend Jim Tomes and told him I was thinking about filing. He said he and his wife would pray about it. I hung up the phone went back to my recliner and opened my bible and picked up wher I had left off on my study of the leadership of the holy spirit.I closed my bible prayed and told God if he wanted me to file I would file. Then I wrote out my letter of intent and mailed it. I then commited the situation to God and asked that his will would be done. If he wanted me to be chairman then make it so. I was very surprised when Chet Mckee called me on March 1st to tell me I would be the new chairman because no one else had filed. I had expected to go to the caucus and have an election. Is it my fault that no one else filed for the position?
There are only 2 other things in my life that I have aproached with this level of prayer and seeking Gods guidance. The decision to marry my wife and the decisionn to allow doctors to disconect my mothers life support.
And you still haven`t said why you`re embarrassed.

Making fun of someone's religion is a hit far below the belt, no matter whose religion it is. This is a decision that Ron took very seriously and for you to bash him for the role his religious beliefs played in the decision-making process is juvenile.

TPT, we've known each other outside of this website for nearly 28 years, and as far as I know, we've always shared a genuine respect for each other. My joke about God's political affiliation was not directed toward a Christian. It was directed toward a bigot. His comments regarding "towelheads" are bad enough, but Mr. Ron Smith has also publically used the slur "wetbacks" on Gibson County Talk. It's not something that I can just let slide.

Ron, you held the local GOP chair for little more than a week before the Secretary of your party wrote a letter to the newspaper with the specific purpose of distancing himself from you. How many more will follow his lead as they become aware that the new leader of the Gibson County Republican Party is also, from what you've displayed on this website, one of the county's loudest and most prolific bigots?

You're already bringing your party down, Ron, and it's unfortunately at a time when local Republicans have been making substantial progress, the kind of progress which will hopefully one day result in a much-needed shakeup at the Courthouse. But that will not be possible under your stewardship. I strongly urge you to consider submitting your resignation before too much damage is done.

I spoke with Mr Dillard last night regardig his letter to the editor. I explianed to him that I object to the meth law as a matter of principle.I have explained that prnciple in this thread.
I am not a man that will compromise my principles. When I as elected chairman I knew it would be a hard road. I asked God to lead me through the fire and he as been faithful in doing that.
I wrote my initial letter to the editor before I was chairman. All future letters that are not party business will have a disclaimer.I`ve instructed the rest of the central commitee to do likewise.

Hey Iron! I care less about your personal opinions about whether a law is a good one or a bad one. The last time I checked we were all entitled to our opinion although those rights are slowly disappearing, especially the past few years. My question for you is much more important right now, to me as a resident of Princeton, and that is does your party plan to present any opposition to the Democratic party's poor administration that has literally stopped any progress in this town? No names necessary just a simple yes or no and the offices involved. Thanks.

YES! We have some candidates in mind. I`ve spent the past to weeks in meetings as soon we get past the Lincoln Day dinner. I will be looking at all the blank spots on the Republican ticket.I am also working with a candidate fior the 8th district congressional seat that I met at the 8th district GOP meeting.I`m helping him with contacts to build a support base, campaign structure and fundraising. He has ran for congress before just not in this district so he already knows the ropes.
Wednesday I met with Reece Collins southern field representive for the HRCC. We discussed what we are looking for in a candidate to unseat Kreg Battles.I wasn`t able to offer him any names at this time but I did mention a possible candidate to unseat Dave Crooks Reece is going to follow up with him.
I have also talked with Nick Herrman and George Postalweight the Vanderburg and Posey county chairman about working together to strengthen the party in the southwest corner of the 8th district. We are going to work together on campaigns and fundraising. This especially important since state house district lines cross our county lines. We plan to send people into neighboring counties to lend a hand.

This thread seems to have turned into a bash Ron thread. I agree with some of what he has to say and other tings I disagree with him on. I met him for the first time earlier this week. Ron and I had a good discussion and he knows that we don't agree on everything, however, we must all work together as conservatives who believe in a common goal. We must work through our differences so we can make changes in this county. Remember, "A house divided against itself will fall".

The Libs are really enjoying this!!! We have to get on track and work out our differences and take care of business. We don't have to like everyone we work with on a project; we just have to finish it.

As far as me "bashing the new GOP Chairman" I hope that I havent went overboard, but I just want to make aware that as a citizen regardless of poltical affiliation I do not agree with repealing the ephedrine law.

I agree with Bruce on the fact that I do not want to see the ephedrine law repealed. I do not see how Ron being County Chairman will make a diffrance in the ephedrine law. Unless Ron would only seek candidates who would repeal the law. As long as Ron helps to get Republicans elected in our area and does not run for office himself I could care less about his dislike for the new law or love of guns.

Ok. I will try to find the paper tomorrow while I'm at work. I am still out on the ephedrine law. On one side, I understand that it may help identify "meth" producers. However, if our laws do not punish the offenders when they are identified and arrested, what good is the law? I don't think meth production has slowed as a direct result of this law. (The thefts at the local co-ops are a booming business to prove it). It does, however, punish law abiding citizens by restricting an otherwise legal actvity. I think the meth problem (and crime in general) is being attacked in the wrong way. The criminals need to be dealt with harshly. Our jails are overcrowded and criminals are getting more rights everyday as the rights of the law abiding citizen loses rights every day in the name of "crime prevention". We don't put driving limits on mileage because cars and trucks are used in serious crimes everyday. It's dumb to ban guns when it is nothing but an inanimate object until someone picks it up and uses it in a wrongfull manner. We need to get at the heart of the matter...the criminal. Fortunately, Indiana is in the forefront of protecting the rights of its citizens to protect themselves at home, in their car and in their place of business. As far as the meth problem, there needs to be very tough mandatory sentences with no plea bargains.
As I said, I am not totally against or for the law, however, I believe it punishes the law abiding citizen more than it does the criminal. I am in favor of not restricting our freedoms due to a few scumbags using legal items for illegal purposes. Tough punishment not rehab for the criminals. Make them work and really "pay their debt" to society. I am all for the hard labor camps and no internet, no cable tv, no gym, etc. If they are in hard labor camps there is no need for a gym and they won't have time to watch tv and play on the computer; plus they will be too tired.
Maybe I am wrong, but, I don't think punishing and "watching" law abiding citizens is not the answer.

The new law has improved the dopeheads networking skills. They now network with dozens of friends and family to obtain the pills in the quanity they need. So if nothing else good comes from it we will at very least improve the dopeheads chances of getting gainful employment after they serve some time.

Then lets fix the problem instead of punishing law abiding citizens. When Jim Tomes ran for state representative in `04 he proved that we could put Glo-tel in anhydrous for afraction of what we are currently spending on met enforcement.

For the record, I didnt say I was switching parties. I think Ill just vote for the person who I think will do a good job. I know when you affiliate yourself with a group and you have one person who's views stand out all by itself for some reason evryone remembers that persons views and automatically thinks its the views of the group. Ron Smith obviously cares whole heartedly about the 2nd amendment rights, but if the fore fathers were living in our world today they would think we are nuts. I guess I really shouldn`t be surprised thought since so many people use faulty hermeneutics and try to interpet the constitution outside of its historical context.
We need to remember that the founding fathers came here to escape an opressive government. They gave us the constitution to govern ourselves so we would never again have to suffer the kinds of oppression that they did.Sadly today people read the constitution without considering it in its historical context and twist it to suit their own purposes.

Thanks, Winterangel. I had hoped someone would pick up on this. That's why I didn't say anything in the earlier posts about my reason for calling for this guy to step down. It took a while, but finally someone did, or at least posted about it. Everything Republicans/ Conservatives are made out to be, in a bad light, this guy is the poster child for that. However, he doesn't make me want to change parties. Until he's out, though, I won't be participating in events.

MWS, I do wonder if this is along the same lines of your thinking?

Yes, it is along the same lines....

There are people that will speak out and there are not... the ones that dont are the ones to worry about... that is what I have always heard. And "there are" ALOT not speaking out.

The yoke is powerful when all is joined as one.... although, this year the yoke is broken... time will prove this.

2 Corininithians 6:14-18 talks about being unequally yoked.
What agreement is there between the founding fathers and or bloated government of today?

Mr Smith,

this will be my last time addressing any of your questions. My words have nothing to do with our founding fathers.
It is apparent that you are clueless. I am done discussing anything with you.

Well, I had to do some research on your fancy biblical terminolgy.

The US Constitution is nothing more than an interpretation. Why do we have a Judicial Branch? To interpret the constitution! You are an "Orginalist" or a "Literalist" believer of the constitution as I am a "Modernist". What would the "Framers" do today about the constitutions interpretation?

"Modernists do not reject originalism - they recognize that there is value in a historical perspective; but the contemporary needs of society outweigh an adherence to a potentially dangerously outdated angle of attack."

I have to admit that I have only read this page (of many) because I have been on back-to-back-to-back business trips, but this quote bothers me. Evidently, the contemporary needs of society - such as the need to forcibly extract money from one person to give to another - are lost on me. There are many more unconstitutional "contemporary needs" that I could bring up, but the founding fathers knew the nature of human beings and the nature of government. Those things haven't changed since the 1700s. They warned us about them.

The constitution addresses the powers of the federal government (which are very few and well defined). It and the Federalist Papers - which give more insight to what the authors meant - deal mostly with the potential evil of an out-of-control federal government and how it should be restrained.

The judicial branch has not done its constitutional job for decades. Most laws passed in the last 60 years are unconstitutional.

I might ought to go back and read this topic...

We need to remember that the founding fathers came here to escape an opressive government. They gave us the constitution to govern ourselves so we would never again have to suffer the kinds of oppression that they did.Okay. I just read page 6 for the first time and this is the best quote on it. All oppressive governments become oppressive because they either 1) are brought about by a very powerful individual (military) or, 2) are brought about by a very convincing individual or group of socialistic individuals (electoral).

I just started doing my income taxes this week (again, because of being out of town) and I find it very hard to believe that our founding fathers paid 50% of their income to the British government. (That includes all taxes, not just income.) Heck, our grandfathers didn't pay 1/10 of that much in the early 1900s!

There are too many people (including a many Republicans) that look to the government for help every time there is an inconvenience in their lives.

I don't have time to read the first 5 pages, so here is what I think about the ephedrine law...nothing. I haven't taken time to think about it.

I do know that I am sick of methheads driving through our neighborhood as they cook or use their goods. I am sick of finding spent meth labs in the ditches near my house. It needs to stop.

The Gibson County GOP Party will be an interesting group to watch over the next year..... one thing to watch for is: how much involvement that will take place at all events..... how many people will leave the group.... ect.....

Ron Smith... you will be an interesting character to watch in the Political Field... can you do it?

From a letter received today, dated April 6, 2007, "Notice of Caucus".
" There will be a caucus to elect a party Secretary and Treasurer. Saturday April 28, 2007 at 10:00AM. The caucus will held at Dick Clarks Restaurant......" Voting for Secretary first and Treasurer second and nominations will be taken from the floor
HMMMM!?!?!?

Several counties are doing the same thing.I`ll be sure to bring the letter that I received from the state to the caucus.
Officers can only be appointed to fill midterm vacancies. The counties that did that fill 4 offices at the March 3rd caucus must have elections to fill those offices.

What ever happened here? Did IH resign? Was he thrown out of office? I betcha it was a Masonic conspiracy against him !!!

You still didn't answer the question. Did you resign, or was you removed from office? Was it over your rants in the Clarion like here on GCN, or was it something else? Inquiring minds want to know.

I thought I'd read this thread and understand something, but *sigh* I don't.
What is the GOP? And what does it have to do with the law that says this stuff isn't easy to buy anymore?
And why has this thread been resurrected? So Pynk can humiliate IH?
there is no legitimate reason for a person to purchase more than a week's supply of the medication, usually 30 or less, unless they are manufacturing meth.I miss Smokie. I understood him most of the time.
