There is a Mikes Transmission in Evansville. We were pulling out 5th wheel camper with out Chevy dually to Rend lake when all of a sudden half way there we lost overdrive and almost lost reverse. Called Mikes Transmission and talked to them -- took it to them on Sunday night and They started on it on Monday morning and it was ready by about 3 pm on Tuesday The bill was 1946.00 and it came with a 12 month or 1200 mile warrenty. My husband had used them a few years ago when he had problems on the cadaliac we had and was plesased with the service so we went back this time

They did some work on a jeep trany for us. Good price, you take it to them. They will take it apart and let you know what is wrong before they fix it. Then you can choose to have it fixed or not.

A friend recommended Mikes also. I took the car there and they said it was a pressure selonoid. Only $300 to fix.

Also, checked out the Better Business Bureau on shops. Mikes was good, Aamco has had alot of complaints.
