Absolutely hysterical. The entire audience cackled until exhaustion. At the end, the other moviegoers actually began applauding!

Good stuff.

Excuse me while I attempt to rid myself of the Thetans in my body.

In it's opening weekend, Religulous raked in more money than it took to make.

It was only released in 502 theatres, but ticket sales were over $3.4 million, thus restoring my faith in the future of humanity.

I believe, Hede dear, that you are supposed to include a review of the movie- a brief description of the plot, characters, setting, actors, its' target audience, etc.

Is it a comedy? A satirical farce? Although the lack of substantial information does entice me , I will admit to being a rare breed. Most ppl need more descriptive text.

I see the coined title mixes religious & rediculous, but I can clearly see this heading in a hundred different directions, if I thought it all out...

Oh Jenn! So sorry! I would've thought everyone had seen the movie trailer for this documentary!

It's just a documentary where Bill Maher discuss with his family their religious views and then goes out to interview Catholic priests at the Vatican along with Muslims and Jews from all over the world. He also visits some locations in the good ole US to find out what they believe. He can't get any Scientologists to talk to him so he finds out the tenets of that religion and has a little fun with it in his own "special" way. I don't want to give anything away.

Remember, this is comedy. If you can't laugh at yourself, then don't go. And really, it's getting too late to see it now anyway.

This is the last night it is playing anywhere near here.

If you wanna go, I'm up for it! I'll take you! Just call me!

It's just a documentary......

Remember, this is comedy.

Which is it? A documentary or a comedy?

It is a comedic documentary.

Was that not obvious?

Bill Maher is very funny. He didn't stop being hilarious just because he was creating a documentary.

From the trailer I seen he mocks religion He is an atheist and does it all the time on his HBO show. Not wasting my time or money to see it.
