Anyone else catch the Indianapolis/New York game tonight? This game was beefed up as the Manning Superbowl, how great the game was going to be etc...and actually it was a dry game. No real big plays, Indianapolis suffered with only 54 yrds on the ground, and Eli Manning of the Giants acted out of place with a dropped ball that caused a fumbled, he was rushed and it seemed he couldnt get his head clear. Now, I bleed the blue for the Colts....but out of 12,543 games in the history of the NFL....this was the first time it was brother vs brother...it was a disappointment.
How does anyone else feel about the game?
(Hey, at least the Colts won !!)

As football games go it was just an average game. I think though we as fans were given all types of hype by the media, especially NBC who wanted their viewing numbers to be huge since this was their first time back broadcasting footballs games in a while. I don't think it could have ever lived up to the hype put out there. To give both teams credit they did what they needed to do to get the job done for the most part. I think if the game happened later in the season it might actually be much harder fought. All in all I liked it. Glad to see a TN alum and the Colts win!:D

Exactly. It should have been played maybe in December. It would have given Eli some time to knock the cobb webs loose and get into the swing of things. Peyton has 9 yrs experience with the Colts, he has a laser rocket arm and steps right out of the pocket to get things done, Eli on the other hand has 3 yrs experience, is learning the swing of things...and it just wasn't a even match up. Dallas and Phili next week should be good. Colts are playing the Texans (yawn...easy victory).

I would LOVE to see the Colts get the the Superbowl this year and win it without having James now....little traitor is going to regret going to Arizona.
Other hand though, the Colts need to work on its running game. Rhodes, and Addai just seem like they can't deliver when it is needed. Addia was GREAT at LSU, and Rhodes was great last year....so maybe after a few games they will pick up the pace a little bit? Anyone know how long Brandon Stokley is going to be out?

Stokley could play this Sunday. I think he's either listed as probable or questionable for the game with Houston.
